Geologically, Rosa Murcia is a metamorphic rock composed largely of calcium carbonate with tightly compacted crystalline structures, making it denser and slightly more durable than many light-toned marbles. Though suitable for various indoor applications — including floors, walls, benchtops, and feature elements — it is still a natural marble and therefore sensitive to acids and abrasive cleaners. Proper sealing and maintenance are recommended, particularly in wet or high-use areas.

• Crystalline inclusions or quartz clusters: Acceptable in any shape or size; they do not affect performance.

• Micro-pits or taroli (small holes): Acceptable if under 5mm and not concentrated in excess.
