In architecture, landscaping, and interior design, Flamed Slate is a highly durable, sedimentary natural stone imported from India.

  • Appearance: It features a heavily undulated texture with significant, vibrant colour variations, including rustic dark reds, oranges, charcoals, and browns. It is darker than the Raja Slate.
  • Applications: It is widely used in Australian architecture for indoor flooring, feature walls, kitchen spaces, outdoor patios, paving, and pool surrounds.
  • Maintenance: Because it is a natural, slightly porous split stone, applying a protective sealant is strongly recommended to preserve its longevity and prevent staining.
