Amazonia is a striking natural quartzite sourced from the mineral-rich regions of Brazil, a country known for producing some of the world’s most vibrant and durable stone. Amazonia is distinguished by its dynamic mix of forest greens, soft greys, browns, and golden undertones — evocative of the dense, earthy layers of the Amazon rainforest. Amazonia is a metamorphic stone primarily composed of quartz, making it exceptionally hard and resistant to heat, scratching, and etching compared to softer stones like marble. Its chemical composition is predominantly silicon dioxide (SiO₂), giving it a high level of durability, which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor environments.
