Geologically, Taj Green is a metamorphic marble composed primarily of calcium carbonate, with trace minerals such as serpentine contributing to its distinct green colouring. Its surface often showcases a delicate blend of linear and flowing veins, giving each slab its own unique identity while maintaining an overall uniform tone.

Taj Green has a tight crystalline structure, giving it moderate durability suitable for a wide range of interior applications such as vanities, benchtops, wall cladding, flooring, and feature walls. As with all marbles, it is sensitive to acidic substances and should be sealed and maintained regularly to protect its surface and enhance its longevity.

Taj Green may include natural features such as ghiacciolo (small white quartz crystal clusters), taroli (surface pits or craters), and subtle mineral inclusions — all of which are considered part of the stone’s authenticity and natural formation.

• Veining pattern and intensity: Acceptable in varied forms; each slab is unique.

• Ghiacciolo (quartz clusters): Acceptable and part of the stone’s natural identity.

• Taroli (small pits): Acceptable if less than 5mm in size and not overly concentrated.
