Tactile Directional YELLOW 300 x 300 Matt

Tactile Directional YELLOW 300 x 300 Matt

Tactile directional tiles, also known as Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSIs) or guiding paths, are structured flooring elements designed to assist individuals with vision impairments to navigate public spaces safely. Unlike warning tactiles (which feature raised dots to indicate upcoming hazards like curbs or stairs), directional tactiles feature raised parallel bars or elongated strips that indicate a safe path of travel.

Directional Orientation: The primary purpose of directional tiles is to map out a clear, unobstructed continuous accessible path of travel along transit hubs, shopping centers, sidewalks, and major civic facilities.
