Rustic glazed clay veneer tiles are inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige, a centuries-old craft known for its handcrafted beauty and subtle imperfections. Originally made by artisans, each tile features a softly uneven surface, natural tonal variation, and a gently reflective glaze that catches the light in different ways, giving the wall a sense of depth and movement.

Their elongated brick format adds a modern edge while still honouring their heritage, allowing for versatile layouts like stacked, herringbone, or classic offset patterns. The creamy, neutral tones in this style create a warm, organic backdrop that feels both timeless and contemporary, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, or feature walls where texture and understated elegance are key.

Very absorbent from the back, but have Engobe on front glaze, should not need Sealing  –  Must use a good quality, water proof Glue, which is suitable for hand-made tiles.

 For use on Walls only  –  Recommend NOT in showers  ( could mould on back)
