New York Stone is a dramatic and elegant natural marble quarried in Turkey, known for its high-contrast veining and luxurious, contemporary aesthetic. Featuring a bold white to light grey base crossed with striking charcoal, black, and deep grey veining, this stone delivers instant visual impact. Its expressive patterning often mimics the energy and rhythm of a bustling metropolis — hence the name New York.

This marble is composed primarily of calcium carbonate, with a crystalline structure that allows it to achieve a beautifully polished finish. It is ideal for statement-making interior applications, including benchtops, splashbacks, feature walls, bathroom vanities, and fireplace surrounds. Its bold character makes it a favourite among designers looking to create focal points in modern residential or high-end commercial spaces.

New York Stone may contain mineral streaks, natural fissures, or cloud-like tonal variations, all of which are considered inherent to the authenticity and uniqueness of the material. Each slab presents its own pattern, offering a one-of-a-kind element to every project.

As with all marble, the surface is susceptible to etching and staining from acidic or oily substances, so sealing and regular care are recommended to maintain its pristine appearance.

• Fissures or linear movement: Natural features that do not compromise structural integrity.

• Tonal shifts and occasional inclusions: Acceptable and part of the stone’s geological origin.
