Bianco Oro, meaning “White Gold” in Italian, is an elegant and luxurious natural marble sourced from select quarries in Italy, most commonly within the Carrara and broader Apuan Alps region of Tuscany. This refined stone is distinguished by its creamy white to ivory base, enriched with soft gold veining, subtle grey accents, and occasional warm beige or taupe undertones — evoking a timeless, opulent aesthetic.

Composed primarily of calcium carbonate, Bianco Oro is a classic metamorphic marble with a fine-grained crystalline structure. It is suitable for a wide range of interior applications, including benchtops, splashbacks, bathroom vanities, wall cladding, and flooring in low-traffic areas. While visually durable, like all marbles, it remains susceptible to etching and staining from acidic substances and should be properly sealed and cared for.

Natural characteristics may include ghiacciolo (ice-like) quartz crystal patches, taroli (small surface craters), and subtle veining shifts — each a hallmark of the stone’s authenticity and geological formation.

This is considered normal:

• Crystal formations (ghiacciolo): Acceptable in any shape or size; part of the marble’s natural beauty.

• Taroli/surface pits: Acceptable if less than 5mm and not overly concentrated.

• Warm-toned veining or mineral streaks: Inherent to the stone and celebrated for their variation.
