The Notre Dame series is a striking and luxurious natural material with geographic shapes and soft weathered finish.
Tundra Grey is a sophisticated and timeless natural marble quarried in Turkey, renowned for its cool, contemporary tones and elegant veining. Featuring a soft grey to silver base, this marble is interwoven with subtle white veining, cloud-like patterns, and occasional light fossil traces, creating a calm, consistent surface with understated depth.
Composed primarily of calcium carbonate, Tundra Grey is a metamorphic marble with a fine-grained crystalline structure that takes well to honed or polished finishes. While durable enough for a variety of interior applications, it remains a natural marble and should be sealed and maintained to prevent staining and etching, especially in wet or high-use areas.
Natural variation is a celebrated feature of Tundra Grey, with veining intensity and tone differing slightly between slabs, ensuring each installation is unique.
Notre Dame Tundra Grey, is durable but still sensitive to acids, oils, and abrasive cleaners. Like most Natural products, it should be sealed and maintained regularly to protect its vivid colouring and finish. It is suitable for interior applications such as feature walls, splashbacks, vanities & decorative accents.
Unique natural characteristics may include colour banding, crystal inclusions, and taroli (small pits or natural indentations), which are all a testament to the natural stones authenticity and geological origin.
